Social Development Training Centre (SDTC) is established in the cooperation between Ton Duc Thang University and Education for Development(EFD) which is an international non-government organization.

Our mission is to offer practical and high quality courses for the employees of the social organizations in Vietnam; specially for the ones that are helping children with poor condition in Ho Chi Minh city.

Through the deliberation between Ton Duc Thang University and EFD, we both realized that there is a number of limit in providing appropriate and helpful courses for children protection organizations because most of the training is hold in Ha Noi. Therefore, the need for those high quality programs with support fee to meet the requirement of those social and non-government organizations is vital in Ho Chi Minh city.

Generally to support the necessary training courses for social employees, Ton Duc Thang University collaborated with EFD to form the SDTC

Finally, with the foundation of SDTC, we confidently believe that our well-organized programs will be helpful for the social organization in Vietnam; especially the skills and knowledge about children for the employees that direct them will be improved properly. Also the best service will be delivered to enhance the living condition of those disadvantaged children.
